When it comes to removing the hair down there, understanding what you want is the first step. At The Skintechnician, here’s how we refer tothe top three waxing services we offer. All intimate areas include tweezing as needed, and a layer of ingrown hair oil post treatment.
Bikini line wax is a basic tidying; we wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you’re wearing a bikini, this prevents any hairs from peeking out.
A Brazilian wax goes from the front all the way to the back with an added butt strip. It’s perfect for a completely nude look or you can leave a neat triangle, strip, or square on the front—totally your choice.
Includes a classic Brazilian wax that goes from the front all the way to the back with an added butt strip. But also includes the inner thighs, stomach strip, and wider booty strip.
Your first Brazilian wax will remove the majority of hair that’s grown above the skin. Because they grow in different cycles, hairs that were growing below the skin’s surface during your first wax will be removed during your new few waxes. After three to four waxes, all hairs should be growing in the same cycle, which means longer-lasting results for you. Brazilian wax aftercare should include exfoliation 2-3 times weekly in between your waxing sessions. Exfoliating products sold in the studio for convinence.
For first time clients, who have never gotten a Brazilian wax. Extra time is provided for comfort and to discuss proper aftercare.

Taking antibiotics or topical acne medications such as (but not limited to) Retinols, Epiduo, Differin, Alpha hydroxy acids etc. can cause skin sensitivity and skin to lift when waxed. *You must be off Accutane for 6 months before waxing.
Yes you can! Keep in mind you may experience a little more sensitivity when getting waxed. If you are still on the fence about continuing to get waxed or start waxing while pregnant, consult your doctor.

Waxing is the process of hair removal, we use hard wax to effectively remove the hair from the root. At the Skintechnician uses a sensitive vegan formula and creamy pink film wax formula that both ease the skin as it works its magic. We use only the best products that are specifically formulated to prevent skin irritation to reactive skin. We recognize that not every waxing client nor session is the same and make sure we give you the most customized experience possible. The wax used at The Skintechnician is vegan, full of natural antioxidant, excellent emollient and great for all skin types. The skin is prepped with an oil to protect the skin from the wax, after the waxing process is complete we use an after waxing oil that soothes, calms and removes wax residue. The hair must be a minimum of 1/4 inch to ensure proper removal of hair. Trimming is not recommended.
No, it will not. Waxing removes the hair by the root, often weakening the root in process. Therefore, if anything, waxing will make the hair finer and sparser with repeated regular waxing.
Waxing your unwanted hair away is really more convenient. It takes longer on the day but you don’t have to do it for another month. Waxing is more expensive, but it can be well worth it. You have a busy life and shaving your stubble every day is annoying. In particular, for those delicate areas, like facial hair, it is best to have those areas wax and waxed by a professional. Shaving your upper lip, chin, brows, or anywhere on your face will cause the hair to come in thicker and darker. If you are on holiday or away from home, this can be a real challenge. As well razors can dry the skin, cause rashes and cuts, and it’s easy to miss spots that you can’t see but others can. You can have other treatments done while getting waxing done. Why not spend the day and get yourself pampered? It’s a great way to treat yourself and you will feel much better. Home kits are fine but you want to relax while you are getting waxed. Leave the waxing to the pros. You might be able to do it at home to maintain, but you are better off to get your esthetician to do it for you.
