A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. With a light, medium, and deep peels you may need to undergo the procedure more than once to get the desired results.
Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars — usually on the face. They can be done alone or combined with other services such as microdermabrasion or microneedling. And they can be done at different depths, from light to deep. Deeper chemical peels offer more-dramatic results but also take longer to recover from.
A light (superficial) chemical peel removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It's used to treat fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness. You might have a light peel every two to five weeks. Medium and deep chemical peel removes skin cells from the epidermis and from portions of the upper part of your middle layer of skin (dermis). It's used to treat wrinkles, acne scars and uneven skin tone. You might need to repeat the procedure to achieve or maintain the desired result.
Chemical peels can't remove deep scars or wrinkles or tighten sagging skin.
Aftercare kit is required for best results for all peels.
A superficial peel is the mildest type of peel. It can be used to treat minimal fine lines, acne, uneven skin tone, and dry skin. Superficial chemical peels are safe and effective for all skin types, tones, and are meant to be done in a series. These peels are great for anyone that wants the results of a chemical peel without the extensive down time.

Progressive Peel, Micro-flaking
A light exfoliation to target dull, tired skin while offering potent pro-youth support. This peel is great for all skin types, and aging skin that has lost its glow. Consists of skin prep, a layer of liquid enzyme, followed by a layer of 10% TCA/AHA, and sun protection.
Progressive Peel, Micro-flaking
This treatment combines Microdermabrasion and a Chemical Peel to maximize results. This treatment will leave you wanting more! Type of peel will be determined by your technician.
Why combine these two services?
Microdermabrasion removes much of the top layer of skin in the epidermis, while a chemical peels drives antioxidants into the living part of the skin, the dermis.
When applied to the skin, TCA peels exfoliate the top layer of skin over the course of several days, exposing a smoother and more attractive new layer of skin underneath. This combination of acids creates a beautiful peeling treatment for evening skin tone, reducing hyperpigmentation, melasma, or sun damage. 2-8 layers are applied and will depend on your skins level of tolerance.
Post care mini kit provided.
Deep Peel, Mild-Moderate Flaking
Recommended in a series of 3-6.
Generally, superficial peels can be used on all skin types. However, if you have a darker skin tone, you have a greater risk of experiencing a darkening of your skin after treatment. This condition is called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. If you have a naturally darker skin tone, you may want to get the advice of your dermatologist about other less aggressive treatments to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
Chemical peeling may also not be recommended if you:
Costs vary depending on where a person lives and from whom they seek treatment. Most clinics charge between $200–600 per session.
Most people need 4-6 treatments to see a significant difference.
During a chemical peel, solution is applied to your skin. You may feel a warm to somewhat hot sensation that will last a few minutes. This is followed by a stinging sensation. To relieve the sting, a cool compress may be applied your skin. The chemical is then washed off and/or neutralized.
