Cancellation/No-Show Policy

All cancellations or reschedules require a 12 hour notice or they will be subject to charges. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than a 12 hour notice will result in a charge of half price of the scheduled service. If no credit/debit card has been provided your voucher will be redeemed to cover this charge.

Appointments that are missed that neglected to give notice (No Call, No Show) will result in a charge of up to full price of the scheduled service. Being 15 minutes late or more to a scheduled appointment may result in the need to reschedule and charge of half price of the scheduled appointment.

Groupon Vouchers 

Effective 03/01/2025 the Skintechnician will not accept Groupons for any clients. The Skintechnician is no longer partnered with Groupon. 

The studio will only accept 1 voucher per NEW client, regardless of how many have been purchased. We will not swap vouchers or accept the value of the voucher towards other services. We will not accept expired vouchers. If you have already used one voucher, we will not accept a gifted or another voucher from someone else etc. Vouchers with multiple services can not be split between two separate people. If you did not put a valid credit/debit on file and you violate our cancellation/no-show policy your voucher will be redeemed to cover the cancellation/no-show fee.  If a voucher has already been used and you attempt to use another, the card on file will be charged to cover the service charge. 

Booking Online

All of our booking online, no exceptions. Please do not reach out to us-attempt to call our number to book an appointment. If you have questions on services you can text us and we will respond within 24 hours. However, we are a small private studio and don't have a receptionist and our technicians are with clients all day. 

Photo Consent
I hereby consent to and give The Skintechnician permission to post any videos or photos taken before, during and after the services performed on me to its social media sites including its website, google profile, Vagaro, Instagram,  Facebook and any other social media platforms.

Children
The studio has a no children policy unless they are receiving a treatment policy to provide a spa like atmosphere. Please make other arrangements for childcare before your appointment.

By Appointment Only

All appointments at The Skintechnician are by appointment only. For your convenience online scheduling has been included on this website. 
Credit Card information is required to reserve an appointment. You will not be charged, unless you no show, or cancel with less than 12 hours notice of your scheduled appointment, or show up 15 minutes late to your appointment. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

Refunds

All service sales, retail items, and gift cards sales are final.
All of our packages, auto-pays, gift cards, Groupon's are not transferable to other client's, and cannot be combined with other discounted offers. Also, we do not offer cash refunds for our packages, auto-pays, or gift certificates, however we will honor an equal exchange (credit) for other services. 

Under 18 Year's Old

Parent (mom or dad) or legal guardian are the only ones that can sign the consent paperwork and give consent to get any services done. Consent paperwork must be signed prior to appointment. 17 and under must book teen facial or detox facial.

The current health crisis is an example of why spa, salon, and wellness professionals are licensed and that their workplaces are heavily regulated and inspected.  Not only during this pandemic, but each and every single day, for every individual client, your professionals are precautious and vigilant.  This industry is arguably one of the best prepared industries for dealing with infection control and providing top notch safety to clients and staff.  In addition to the practices that we have always followed for infection prevention and control, we have gathered improved ways of servicing clients that are safer for everyone inside of the spa.  We not only want you to feel relaxed, but safe and protected while receiving world class services. We understand your concerns and have outdone ourselves in preparing our business for you!  The safety of our staff and clients is essential to us.

What we are doing

• Staff are required to wear face masks covering mouth and nose.
• Disinfection protocols are meeting or exceeding all state, local and regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene. All disinfectants used at The Skintechnician are verified to ensure they meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
• Educating and thoroughly training staff on enhanced protocols and procedures.
• Keeping a well-stocked environment with hand soap and alcohol-based hand sanitizer to encourage healthful habits.

What you can do

• Stay Home if you are not well.
• Follow our “hands off” practices – no shaking hands, hugging, or touching your face.
• Guests are highly encouraged to wear face masks while in public indoor and outdoor areas, except during selected services, even if fully vaccinated.
